Beta & Institutional Pilot

Free during beta.
Built for an institutional pilot.

Compendium is in free, early access today. If your institution would like access to the platform at this stage as a pilot project, get in touch with us.

What free beta includes today

  • Unlimited projects, protocol to report
  • Full local AI suite (screening, extraction, RoB 2)
  • Meta-analysis, forest & funnel plots
  • Auto-generated PRISMA 2020 diagram
  • All exports (PDF, DOCX, CSV), no lock-in
  • No card, no time limit, no seat count

The end of the beta phase will be announced in advance, and nothing changes retroactively without your consent.

Running an institutional pilot

Ethics boards, research offices and labs handling sensitive data can pilot Compendium on their own terms, fully local, no cloud dependency.

We scope it together

Questions

Will Compendium always be free?
Not necessarily. We're in a free beta phase. When paid plans do launch, early users get advance notice and a fair transition, nothing changes retroactively without your consent.
How mature is this, can I rely on it for real work?
This is early access: the core workflow is real and usable, but you'd be an early adopter, not buying a finished platform.
Where does my data go during a pilot?
Nowhere. The AI runs locally on your own machine, there's no server component and no cloud option in this beta. Ideal for ethics boards, LGPD/GDPR and sensitive data.
How do I start an institutional pilot?
Email us directly. No procurement, contract or payment is needed to start today, we'll scope it with you.
Which countries can access the beta today?
Brazil, the US and the UK: a July 2026 legal review found no blocker for the current free beta in any of the three, for individual researcher use. The beta is local-first, runs without a backend and, by default, collects no personal data beyond an optional support email. That's not a compliance certificate, just no blocker identified so far. Institutional pilots carry their own compliance requirements: email us and we'll go through your institution's specifics directly, rather than assuming this review already covers them. Elsewhere? Email us and we'll look at your case.
